Weekday reservations have the option to view a selection of outdoor sculptures and paintings from the McEvoy private art collection. The next leg of your journey takes you west through dairy farmland to Tomales Bay. You’ll land perfectly in the small coastal community of Marshall for a tour and lunch at Hog Island Oyster Co. going behind the scenes to learn about Hog Island’s process and their commitment to their craft and ecological community.

Redwoods, Rivers, and Relaxation
Start the day outdoors and relax with a redwood tub soak under the trees.
Begin your day with a hike under old growth trees at Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. Traverse hikes along the ridgeline or walk a paved path under towering Redwoods. Visit the village of Guerneville or follow the Russian River to Duncans Mills for lunch or consider a picnic before settling into the redwood soaking tubs at Dawn Ranch Spa.

Gardens, Groves, and Vines
Tour botanical gardens, walk among Redwoods, and visit intimate vineyard sites of Sonoma coast along the Bohemian Highway.
Tour west Sonoma County backroads to a pit stop at beloved Wildflour Bread in Freestone. (Katina loves to stop in for scones) Continuing the drive, head north on the Bohemian Highway to the eclectic town of Occidental. Immerse yourself in nature as you meander through the narrow paths at Western Hills Gardens or continue your nature tour at nearby Grove of the Old Trees, a 48-acre open space reserve that is perfect for a picnic in the shade. Continue on Bohemian Highway through to Monte Rio and the Russian River before returning to Healdsburg.
