OUR ANNUAL RESIDENCY AT THE LODGE AT BLUE SKY

INTRODUCING 'TITLE PAGE'

It’s our pleasure to unveil ‘Title Page’ - our 9-day annual residency at The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Resorts Collection, where a culinary adventure will unfold between January 18th-28th. An Omakase-style dining experience will bring our guests along a journey that incorporates cinema with fine dining; guiding diners and guests through a sensory journey of a new culinary concept coming to life. Chef Kyle shares,

 “We are excited to return to the beautiful Blue Sky property to collaborate with our good friends for this project. For us this is an incredible opportunity to try something completely new, an idea that has been swirling in our heads for the past several years. We are going to get some of these ideas off the page and in front of guests to include them in the creative conversation of what we are developing.”

A UNIQUE OMAKASE EXPERIENCE

Under the guidance of Chef Kyle and Katina, the true essence of omakase dining unfolds. As guests savor their opening bites, they'll be presented with a cinematic window into the ‘why’ giving viewers the first look and taste into the genesis of an idea. The short film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Justin Taylor Smith, tells the nuanced stories of the farmers, growers and purveyors who lovingly cultivate the ingredients which appear on the plate, from the inspiration to the concepting, to the research and development. When presented with each subsequent course, diners will have forged a deeper understanding of, and appreciation for, the passion and artistry that has gone into producing each ingredient, and building something from the ground up.

We named our residency “Title Page” because the name typically refers to the first page of a screenplay, and that is exactly what we want to introduce our guests to - the beginning and introduction of something new. Like being in the writing room watching a screenplay be written, the story of an entire ecosystem- the farmers, the fishermen, and the artists who lovingly cultivate their ingredients all begin to find their place amongst the pages of this draft. Set against the backdrop of Utah's picturesque winter vistas, the dining experience is not just a meal; it's an invitation to witness the birth of a new culinary narrative.

SPECIAL FINAL EVENT BENEFITING PROTECT OUR WINTERS

On our final evening of our "Title Page" Residency at The Lodge at Blue Sky, in partnership with High West Whiskey, we are hosting a very special dinner to fundraise for Protect Our Winters. Protect Our Winters is a community of athletes, scientists, creatives, and business leaders advancing non-partisan policies that protect our world for future generations. As avid snowboarders and snow enthusiasts, Katina and Chef Kyle are thrilled to spotlight and support this incredible organization. The majority of all proceeds will be donated to Protect our Winters. Tickets are $2,000 per person inclusive of menu and beverage program.
